Someone wrote this quote that says:

Put down everything that comes into your head and then you’re a writer

Writing on Paper for Clearing my mind as an overthinker has became a remedy of mine after mindless scrolling on social media for relatable stuff to add on the same. But Sudden realization of Writing as hobby was uncomfortably happy thing for me.

A quote from Internet that literally says:

If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot.” — Stephen King.

And as this quote says I forced myself to start reading stuff. I started reading online Quotes, Stories, Motivational Speeches and slowly transitioned myself in to reading books, News Papers if available for free Web Blogs and Much more.

Why I Decided to make writing as profession (Honest Answer):

I used to work in a AV Company as a part of Newly Formed Digital Marketing team where I was responsible for all the possible things organically that includes off page SEO, On Page Blogs, Guest Postings, Backlink Creation and Much More. But After A Hectic Lifestyle Change I decided to take a career break for the sake of my mental health. in this time period of Career break I did an Eye Surgery, Some other medical Incidents happened and the Career Break Became Longer than 6 Months.

During this long time I Built up a habit of writing. I use to write whatever comes in my mind. About being alone, About Overthinking habit, My Love for Music, Sports, My Past, What I want in my future, Why I like being Minimalist and Much more.

One Day I was Scrolling through social media and I found a Advertisement about Copywriting Pro Course by My Captain and after Reading all the Informaation about the Course. I found out that I can make a good career in writing if I will do it as profession. And I Enrolled into this course.

Conclusions I Founded:

Transitioning from writing as a hobby to writing as a profession has been an enlightening experience for me. The differences are significant and worth noting. Before I used to indulged in writing for personal pleasure, free from limitations and deadlines. However, as a professional writer, I have to adopt to writing in-demand content and meeting strict deadlines to please clients and readers.

While writing as a hobby allowed me the freedom to write whenever inspiration hit, professional writing will require discipline and time management. Meeting deadlines and maintaining a steady output have become essential aspects of my routine, regardless of inspiration or creative flow.

Choosing my topics and genres was a luxury I enjoyed as a hobby writer. With professional writing, I have to consider market needs and cater to client requests, often specializing in certain genres or conforming to specific styles.

The satisfaction derived from hobby writing stems from personal achievement and leisure. However, professional writing offers the opportunity to turn my passion into a career, build a reputation, connect with a wider audience, and earn a living from my writing. It’s important to find a balance between hobby and professional writing, allowing for the enjoyment of creative freedom while reaping the rewards of professional success.

Transitioning from writing as a hobby to writing as a profession has been fulfilling for me. Earning money from a passion will surely bring financial stability and validates the time and effort invested. It will allow my work to reach a larger audience, influencing lives and granting me growth opportunities in the industry. Whether writing for pleasure or profit, I cherish the journey, recognizing the unique joys and challenges that come with both paths. Let’s Begin!
